Day 01 – Arrival – Pais Basco (+/- 950kms) – Departure from your region to the Basque Country. Free lunch during the journey. Check-in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02 – Pais Basco – Cantábria – Astúrias (+/- 450kms) – Breakfast and departure for Cantabria. Discover Santillana del Mar, known for its medieval architecture and pedestrian center. Comillas, famous for “Gaudí’s Capricho” (guided tour included). Free lunch. Trip to Asturias with a visit to a cider house (included). Check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03 – Astúrias (+/- 175kms) – Breakfast and departure to the “Picos de Europa”, a national park with Covadonga, a sanctuary with its basilica and the “Cueva Santa”, a small chapel carved into the rock. Cangas de Onis, the first capital of Spain, with its Roman bridge and the victory cross. Lunch included. Visit Oviedo, with its pedestrianized historic center and its cathedral (entrance and audio guide included). Return to the hotel. Dinner included and overnight stay.
Day 04 – Astúrias – Galiza (+/- 475kms) – Breakfast and departure to Ribeira Sacra, known for its vineyards and cultural heritage, the “Little Douro of Galicia”. Lunch included. Panoramic tour of the vineyards and visit to a winery (included). Travel to Portugal and check in at the hotel. Relaxation in one of the region’s thermal baths (included). Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05 – Alto-Minho – Porto (+/- 200kms) – Breakfast and tour of Alto-Minho, passing through Valença and its fortress, Vila Nova de Cerveira and its “Cervo” viewpoint, walk along the estuaries of the Coura and Minho rivers and arrival in Viana do Castelo, capital of Alto-Minho, with the Lima river that can be crossed over the Eiffel bridge. Free lunch. Departure to Porto, with a panoramic visit and stop for coffee with “pastel de nata” (included). Descend to the Ribeira neighborhood, cross the Douro on foot over the emblematic D. Luís Bridge and visit the cellars. Next, visit the Port wine cellars and return to Gaia by funicular (included). Check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06 – Aveiro (+/- 100kms) – Breakfast and discovery of Aveiro, “the Venice of Portugal”. Time to explore the city center on a walking tour with the help of an APP (included), which gives us access to the city’s little corners. Free lunch. Free afternoon to explore the hotel, its swimming pool with spa (included) or the surrounding area. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 07 – Douro – Trás-os-montes (+/- 275kms) – Breakfast and departure to Porto São Bento train station. Ascent of the Douro Valley along the river BY TRAIN (included), vineyards and wine farms as far as the eye can see. Arrival at Régua station. Lunch included. Discovery of National Road 2, between Régua and Chaves. Visit to the springs and the Pedras Salgadas museum (included), natural sparkling water. Check in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 08 – Trás-os-montes – País Basco (+/- 650kms) – Breakfast and departure to the North of Spain, with a stop in Puebla de Sanabria to discover one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Free lunch during the journey. Check in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 09 – País Basco – Departure (+/- 950kms) – Breakfast and departure to your region. Free lunch during the journey. Arrival in your region at the end of the day.
